What is an expandable container home?
An expandable container home, or a "fold-out" home, is a portable & sturdy home that is designed to be shipped inside of a standard 40ft shipping container to make it easily transportable. The home can be setup by simply folding out the walls, floor and ceiling. If you want to relocate, you can fold it back up and get it shipped to your next site.

Is freight included?
We manufacture our Violet container homes overseas and get them shipped to our warehouse in Mulgrave NSW - this is all included.
Local freight and delivery is NOT included in the price. -
What is the lead time?
Our lead time is generally 12-14 weeks from time of deposit.

Do you have stock?
If you are looking for a standard unit, we may have stock. Please contact and check with one of our representatives.
If you are looking for a customized unit, we will have to go through the normal production process. -
Can I be exempt from council approval?
You may be able to be exempt from prior council approval in your state by putting your container home on a trailer and classifying it as a caravan under your state legislation exemption.

How does water, sewerage and power connect to the unit?
The Violet comes fully plumbed with hot and cold water inlets and separate grey water and waste water outlets. You can simply connect your water supply via a hose into the inlets and you're ready to go.
For waste and sewerage, we offer a range of septic tank sizes which can be easily setup and installed by your local plumber.
The Violet also comes completely wired with a 240V AC power and safety circuit braekers. Simply power your home via a 15 amp plug into the power inlet located at the rear of the container home.
